How are you LIKE your parents?

I am an amalgamation of both my parents. I am systematic, organized, and logical like my father who is a working professional. But at times, I like to be creative, expressive, and messy like my mother who is an artist.

Have you developed your own expectations for yourself, or if you were honest, would you say you're operating under someone else's expectations?

I would say many of my expectations are derived from those of my parents. But in high school, as I looked up at the mountain ahead of me, I knew I had to set some milestones for myself if I wanted to reach the peak. An expectation that I recently set for myself is that I want to lead a eudaimonic life. I want to flourish and feel fulfilled.

For my career and life ahead, yes, I may need to operate under someone else's expectations. My parents have and will continue to have expectations for me, My teachers have expectations. My friends will have relationship expectations that I need to maintain. And even my future bosses. 

Who, other than a relative, serves as a model for you of someone who lives life with great passion and personal responsibility?

Curry for three! Bang!!! Growing up watching this legend make thousands of shots beyond the arc, I was fascinated! He is really passionate about basketball and strives to be the best he can. He takes great personal responsibility. For instance, he holds himself accountable for missing a free throw and practices till he never misses.

Connecting with the ANIMAL WORLD: What wild animal do you feel a special connection with, and why?

I feel a special connection with Owls. This is because I am basically nocturnal. I am most productive and get a burst of energy at night.

Connecting with the NATURE KINGDOMS: Describe a significant childhood encounter with a tree or plant.

When I was in elementary school, my family took a weeklong road trip to northern California and Oregon. Amidst this trip, we stopped at this tourist spot. Here, in the middle of the forest was a massive tree, which was so wide that you could drive an car through its trunk! My eyes boggled when I saw this. I still remember, my dad slowly driving our 8 seater SUV through the carved out tree trunk, asking me to close the side mirrors of the car.
